Fig by Four is multi-instrumentalist Sarah Statham (she/her), who weaves ethereal thoughts on connection, memory and change into a refreshing melting pot of rapturous alternative/indie musical storytelling. Her debut collection of songs, released as the album ‘Capture Reveal’ in October 2023, is hinged on lyrics that are both pensive and engaging, set amongst dynamic rhythms, characterful guitars, affirming synths and ear-catching basslines.

Alternative RnB/Soul artist Lauren Mikki combines ethereal soundscapes with raw emotion in her music. The effect is distinctive and dreamy, interweaving layered harmonies and an infallible sense of melody that makes for an unmissable live experience. Growing up travelling between her northern home and family in the south, Lauren was surrounded by diverse musical tastes that have subtly influenced her style. From a childhood dominated by the indie tastes of her parents, she went on to discover her love for the likes of Sabrina Claudio, Ariana Grande and Solange. Music is at the centre of her of life, and any style may become a source of inspiration for Lauren Mikki--something that is evident in her performances.

Combining glittering keys, gritty guitars, and devastating emotional lyricism shaene projects a dynamic gentleness that sets her at a pioneering edge, embodying the rich history of her Emo / Shoegaze predecessors. Tackling issues of mental health, familial alienation and the trans experience, time lost / time regained finally settles on acceptance, recovery, and the choice to end the cycle.

Singer-songwriter Maddie Lara from Merseyside is creating ethereal folk music with dreamy, story-driven lyrics. Her unique sound combines darker, distorted textures and reverb-laden vocals influenced by Wolf Alice and Radiohead. From recording in her bedroom, Maddie has progressed to collaborative production, offering a captivating, sweet mix of introspection and artistry.

Introducing Hadassah, an emerging R&B artist from South East London, shaped by the eclectic influences of the North of England. Inspired by luminaries such as SZA, Kehlani, and Mereba, she infuses soulful melodies with her own experiences, crafting music that delves into themes of love,self-discovery and heartache. With a captivating voice and sincere lyrics, she plans to make waves in the industry, staying true to her roots while fearlessly pushing boundaries.
HELEN EDGEWORTH
Helen Edgeworth is an emerging artist in the vibrant Leeds scene. She seamlessly fuses elements of folk-pop, soft rock and grunge resulting in a unique musical style. Her music serves as a vessel for introspection, a mixture of soft but angsty vocals and raw guitar tones reference to an eclectic mix of inspiration; the raw energy of Sonic Youth, the emotional depth of PJ Harvey, and the soul-stirring performances of Jeff Buckley. Helen curates a sonic landscape of her very own that both haunts and captivates.
